HOME TOWN QUESTIONS-ANSWERS - 1

HOME TOWN/BIRTH PLACE
1.       Where do you come from? /Where do you live now?
Where do you live at this moment?
Presently/currently, I live in Muvattupuzha, a medium- sized town located almost ……kilometers away from here (the examination center)
2.       Which part of the country are you from?
Well, I am from Muvattupuzha,(in Keala), located in the extreme South of my country-India and my hometown falls almost in the middle of my state, Kerala, to be precise.
3.       Do you think your home town is a good place for young people? (Why?)
Muvattupuzha, in fact, is a fitting place for all regardless of their age.  For youngsters, it is obviously, an appropriate place. Being a youngster, I adore my hometown as it offers all that I need. First of all, being a town it is equipped with almost all modern facilities ranging from shopping complexes to highly esteemed educational institutions with   state-of-the-art-facilities. It has got an ambiance of a country town, nevertheless.  It would, probably because  it has got calm, green and sleepy village outskirts. This cool ambiance, unaffected by the hustle and bustle of the town, in fact makes it conducive to academic  endeavors which in turn, has prompted people to start Colleges and other such institutions here. Moreover, Muvattupuzha is also blessed with quick access to internet, cinemas not to mention, mobile range. Proximity to the industrial capital of the state-Kochi is another added advantage of my home town.   Kochi, you know  is hardly an hour drive away from here. Well, all these make Muvattupuzha an adorable place for youngsters.

DO ARTISTS CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY? ANSWER

2. Do artists contribute to society?

Our society is nourished by the contributions of its members regardless of their status – financial or social, skilled or unskilled, scientific or artistic. It goes without saying that, artists contribute considerably to it. They play a valuable and irreplaceable role. Artworks,  certainly cater to/ feed   your imagination. Life is boring without them. Can you think of a life without a song? Without watching a movie? Or watching T.V.?Watching a single photo evokes lots of thoughts and can eventually, make us cry of laugh. I mean, it helps human beings unwind and get refreshed. More importantly, many artists are, in fact, facilitators of social change. What else can substitute the message a movie gives? A small cartoon of a few lines can speak volumes against injustice than any other works. That is how they turn catalysts of social change . However, I wonder we more often than not undermine their contributions.

ARE YOU A SINGER? ANSWER

Are you a singer?

I am a singer and well, as a singer I am popular in my friend’s circle. I am blessed with a mellifluous/captivating voice and my friends appreciate me on that count. Interestingly, I was a famous singer as a school going boy and had bagged many prizes and certificates.  However,  as of now, to be frank, I daren’t sing in public as I realize that I am in want of better sense of rhythm. As far as I am concerned  it, unfortunately, is Achilles heel . I am not saying that lower than average in terms of rhythm but still, I strongly feel that there is  room for improvement  I am working on it and I hope, in a short time span, I can break free of my hesitation and would sing in public.
